Welcome to Saint Philip Parish! We are a vibrant community of intentional disciples in the communities of Crafton, Ingram, Crafton Heights, Sheraden, Elliott, West End and Thornburg.
Our parish includes the parish communities of the former Guardian Angels, Holy Innocents and Ascension parishes. We maintain two worship centers: St. Philip Church in Crafton, and Ascension Church in Ingram, PA. Father James Torquato is Pastor of the parish.
Join us on Monday, February 16, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in Conner Hall at Ascension Church (114 Berry Street) for a joyful community evening featuring a Pancake and Sausage Supper, lively music and dancing with DJ John Wiggins, and fun activities for all ages. Guests can enjoy a coloring and word search contest, test their knowledge in a Lenten Trivia Contest, and share in an evening of fellowship, fun, and community spirit. Everyone is welcome!

Join us for these excellent dinners and gatherings on Ash Wednesday, February 18 and every Friday of Lent through April 3 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.
If you and your family members can lend a hand, or two, please join our team of Fish Fry volunteers. Call the parish office this week, and speak with our parish staff about your interest in volunteering!
The Holy Season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 18, and our schedule is as follows:
- 8:00am Mass with Ashes, Saint Philip church
- 12:00pm Service with Ashes, Ascension church
- 4:00pm Service with Ashes, Saint Philip church
- 7:00pm Mass with Ashes, Ascension church
This season of penance, sacrifice, and forgiveness prepares us for the Lord’s Resurrection. Lent lasts until Holy Thursday and is a time for conversion, reconciliation, fasting, penance, and prayer.
At Saint Philip Parish, Lent includes Ash Wednesday services, Sunday and weekday Liturgies, Lent reflection booklets, our Soup, Salad, and Speaker series on Wednesday evenings, Stations of the Cross every Friday, and many opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Prepare for Lent now to make these Forty Days meaningful and beneficial for you, your family and our community!
Our Bereavement Support Group meets Thursday, February 19 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm in Conner Hall on the Ascension campus.
We spend about an hour together hearing each other’s stories with compassion and loving support. This is not a psychotherapy group, but fellow parishioners who care for one another and support one another as we travel through the grief process together.
