Welcome to Saint Philip Parish! We are a vibrant community of intentional disciples in the communities of Crafton, Ingram, Crafton Heights, Sheraden, Elliott, West End and Thornburg.
Our parish includes the parish communities of the former Guardian Angels, Holy Innocents and Ascension parishes. We maintain two worship centers: St. Philip Church in Crafton, and Ascension Church in Ingram, PA. Father James Torquato is Pastor of the parish.
MEN’S RETREAT: The annual Saint Philip Parish Men’s Retreat will be held September 13-15 at Saint Paul’s Retreat Center on the Southside.

Join us at the St. Philip Parish Picnic, on Sunday, Sept. 15 on the Ascension church campus for food, fun, music & fellowship!
IT’S ALMOST PICNIC TIME: Mark your calendars for a day of fun and fellowship at the annual Saint Philip Parish Picnic on September 15. The festivities will run from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, with delicious food served from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.
Food & Drinks: Enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, sides, and beverages—all provided at NO cost to you!
Activities: There’s something for everyone! Join in the fun with games, crafts, music, and a 50/50 raffle. Don’t miss out on BINGO starting at 3:30pm!
Dessert Table: We kindly ask each family to bring an item for the dessert table to share.
Reservations: If you plan on attending, please make a reservation by filling out the form attached (download PDF below) and placing it in the collection basket or by calling the Parish Office of Faith Formation at 412-922-6388.

Faith Formation Monday Night Sessions will begin on September 16 from 6:30pm to 7:45pm to register call 412-922-6388.
You should register your child if:
• You would like your child to participate in the sacraments of First Eucharist and Confirmation in 2025 or 2026.
• You would like your child to grow in the faith using age-appropriate interest activities and lessons with other children
• You would like your family to begin to practice the faith again after recovering from the Pandemic
• You have a young child with special needs whom you would like to receive the Sacraments
Exciting News! Faith Formation is launching a new catechetical ministry tailored for children with special needs. The main sessions will be held on Monday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:45pm. We are also flexible and can accommodate individual needs and schedules to best support each child and family. The Order of Christian Initiation (OCIA) is intended for both adults and children who, after hearing the mystery of Christ proclaimed, consciously and freely seek the living God. The evening will feature the inspiring Sister Janet Gardner, OSF, who will lead us on a captivating journey through the wisdom and teachings of Saint Francis and Saint Clare of Assisi.
