The Parish Office is located at 114 Berry Street in Ingram on the the Ascension campus.

How do I register to become a member of the parish?

How do I make an appointment to speak with a priest?

Simply contact the Parish Office at 412-922-6300 and they will put you in touch with one of our priests.

How do I receive the Sacrament of the Sick (Anointing)?

Anointing of the Sick is celebrated on the last Saturday of the month at 8:30am in Ascension Church.

Or ask the nurse to inform the Chaplain. Every hospital and nursing home in the Pittsburgh Diocese has a Chaplain assigned for this purpose.

I have a loved one in the hospital or a nursing home, how do I schedule a pastoral visit by a priest?

How do I schedule a Mass Intention?

Contact Maureen Takach in our Parish Office at 412-922-6300. She is in the office from 9:00am to 3:00pm on Mondays and Fridays.

How do I register my children for Religious Education Classes (CCD)?

Please call Linda  Bey or MaryAnn Garfold in the Religious Education Office at 412-922-6388.

How do I obtain a copy of my child's Baptismal Certificate or How do I obtain a Letter of Parish Membership or Sponsorship Letter?

Please call Frank Bey in the Parish Office at 412-922-6300, x 5. For a baptismal certificate, if born before 2016 please call the Diocese Record Center at 412-456-3158.

How do I update my parish membership information?

Please call the Parish Office at 412-922-6300 and speak with Frank Bey or Maureen Takach. 

How do I schedule a Baptism for my child?

Please speak with Linda Bey or MaryAnn Garfold in our Religious Education Office at 412-922-6388. Please note that Baptisms are not scheduled until the child has been born. First time parents are asked to complete a Baptism Prep Class before scheduling a Baptism.

How do I schedule a wedding at St. Philip Parish?

Weddings are scheduled after the engaged couple has completed an intake meeting with one of our priests. Per diocesan regulations, a six-month period of preparation is required before any wedding. We strongly urge you not to reserve your wedding reception venue until you have already met with the priest. Please call Maureen in the Parish Office at 412-92-6300, x6 to schedule a meeting with one of our priests. 

How do I become Catholic?

Those seeking to become Roman Catholics are invited to participate in the OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) Program in the parish. Please call our Director of Religious Education, MaryAnn Garfold, at 412-922-6300 for more informaiton.
